Went for a drive in he moke, saw another moke for sale near the Wentworth hotel in home bush, standard 79' big wheeler, squashed front donuts, still running smog gear, drums all 4 etc nothing special, asking price? $19000, I laughed and blasted away, then stopped at Edward Lee's who currently has 3 rovers for sale, all great condition, regular rover price, one of the blokes informed me that they can import any rover from japan in 6 weeks, u tell them what you want, they'll find it, send pics, bring it over, comply it and even give a warranty! Good blokes actually

there are so many bad stories about edward lees haha.. they have quite the reputation amongst the jdm crowd!

Engine bay Painted finally, if work allows it i may get the front subframe started this weekend (not sunday BATHURST) also stopped in and bought a ARP head bolt kit and picked up my lightened flywheel, Things are starting to come along, hopefully i'll be picking up the freshly machined engine early next week after a 2 week delay, then its assembly time.
DEADLINE of Dec 27 still looking dooable for the mechanicals but body and interior will probably have to wait until next year..

Headed over to Docs to see if my oil pressure issues could be alleviated, got a DrMini oil pressure relief mod. Pressure was fine till it started to heat up, at the lights it was down to 15 pounds, 10 at one point, dropped into karcraft and picked up a new spring, hopefully should fix all of the issues

Was a nice day to be mokin

Dr did a house call to Baxters 850, and set his ign timing with my dialback timing light.
Checked my A/F ratio on the freeway going there, all is good. 8)

Started pulling down a spare engine, The previous owner was nothing if not resourceful. He had used an old brake pad as a block off for the fuel pump!
