Steve Irwin and Peter Brock died doing what they loved, knowing the dangers.
In australia alone , an average of 4 people die in road crashes per day, almost 100 people die per day from cancer and 3 people will die from drug related causes.
That's from a total on 126,000 Australians dying every year. Thats 345 per day.
i noticed today... peter brock got eight pages while on the ninth page i noticed a 2cm by 8cm article on a south australian who also died, crashing into a tree.

Les and Merle Shell. They're not names you'll recognise. They mean something to me though, and to many others i know. When these two passed away, the people whos lives they'd affected cried. I know i did. I still cry myself to sleep most nights. They were not, until now, ever really mentioned on a public forum. They barely rated a mention in the paper. But i like to talk about them because of what they meant to me. SHould it not be the same for the famous? People like Peter Brock and Steve Irwin affected peoples lives. One of scotts friends idols was Brocky, and was so impressed with steve irwins work that he's been heading to that particular field (even before irwons death). Im sure this is the same for many. So many peopel on here can talk about those two because they meant so much to them. Those who aren't discussed online heve just as much admiration and celebration by others, just not as many others. No one on here bar me will miss Merle and Les. How can i expect you to? They were never known of by you till now. Can anyone cry for the loss of someone they have never known of, with no clue who they are, what they stood for or how they died?
