Its still good to see that things still unfold the same way on the Ausmini forums, even after all this time away.

Bad luck on the acco! Hope you get your Mini fixed and you don't let it happen again!

Ignore all these supposed 'perfect' drivers, they are all old and will be dead someday......then they cant post and we don't have to read the crap.. :) ohhh.....you know I'm just joking!! :D

Good times to be had on here!!

With the usual crap from the same old folks on this thread, I don't reckon I CBF'd posting photos either. If you really want a mental image of the tiny's stack, draw yourselves a picture and then stick it in your arse.

So hopefully he'll know what to do next time.

Yeah i remember that excuse in the schoolyard, "we were only just playing with him right?" After the third or fourth page it starts to lose credibility.

I rolled a Leyland Mini 6 months after getting it, it was my first car and it was on a bolt straight downhill stretch south of Ipswich on the way to Boonah in Qld. I felt sheepish about it, I couldn't hide from it and it was my own fault. I learnt more that day about poor driving than I have in the 15 years since. It's a steep old learning curve, but you get some golden experiences. In a few years it will be the only stuff you care to remember of the times.

Well the common part seems to be the young guys getting on with stories of a crash or speeding ticket, or defect notice, but it was everybody's fault but their own.

Then refusing to give an inch when older wiser souls point out that they should at least take some responsibility.

Then other young guys pile on and say everyone should stop picking on them. It's not fair whaa whaa whaa.

For the record, I'm probably half the age of most of the old guys in this thread, so don't lump me in with them and write me off just because I agree with what they say.

I just expect more from young people. Maybe unreasonably.

I'm sure there are tons of young guys that act reasonably and responsibly. They just don't attract much attention. The idiots give the lot a bad name.

and for the record, I have had to justify why I should be allowed to hold a licence in the state of NSW before a magistrate.
but also for the record - that was not for, nor have I ever had an accident !!!!!!
I drive and ride fast!
