Bet no one will get an answer from their emails.

Damn , I knew I should have taken you up on your bet for a carton .....

Looks like you missed out (I don't actually remembering offering a carton but there you go - I must've - you wouldn't lie just to get free beer would you sports850???? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: )

Obviously he still wants to sell it. Should get his phone number and we can put Brad in contact with him - so they can chat about how they have identical cars? What a coincidence!

Man, I had forgotten all about that. That one, and the Anus Computers reverse-scam (scambaiters.net I think, or something like it).. absolute GOLD.

Funny thing, I saw a spam recently received by one of our customers from "Williams Cole" in Nigeria.. the same guy the scambaiters went after.. amazing, he's still at it.

<end OT hijack>

I keep trying to find him through the IP address in the email but can't get any further than it being an AOL server in Virginnia USA , anyone got the skills to do more , Hotmail gives the juicy details to follow it ...

I have a friend I released early from the navy who went to work for the Attorney Generals office(personal request from Ruddock himself!!) and is specifically tasked with surfing the net all day looking for things that can cause the C of A grief. Have to find him first as he disappeared into a white labrynth across the road from me. If anyone can check it out, Scooter can...lol

Chasing IP addresses is a very sensitive area as well and not casting a frown on what people are trying to do. However, it is actually illegal to investigate or "burrow" into peoples personal affairs via IP tracking unless you have a mandate to do it( a PI qualified person for instance...) - invasion of privacy and contravening quite a few laws and statutes. We charge people regularly for doing exactly this thing and unfortunately it is a federal offence which means it is out of Navys hands. No option but a hefty fine, a lengthy jail term or both(18 months was the last one Defence/AFP/ASIO ONA metered out for a fellow who used his ex-GF's email IP to track her down to harrass her further...)and he has just been trialed and sentenced - there aint any good behaviour either - full term sentences when it comes to the feds...and a $5000 fine when he gets out...lmao

This said though - bugger it and I reckon we track the dog down and strap him to something very large and send the scumbag into orbit...my humble opinion only...lol. Thanks for the email address too - maybe we should all send him some mail of our own...lol

Hooroo

The best thing to do is make him come to us not the other way around.

We need to think of a way of making him run around in circles thinking that he is going to get a pot of gold when all he will get is stuffed around.
