I'd like to apologise to everyone who has been upset or angered by this thread, it was started by me wanting to know details of that car, and I still want as much information on it as I can get. If you are the owner, or buy it at any time in the future, please contact me, as this car is only 1 number off mine - they are brothers, after 39 years, finding a car with consecutive numbers to my own is like winning tattslotto

The heated discussion about the car was in regards to the 'missing' ADR compliance plate, and the effect it has on the value, the 'real or fake' topic was never really discussed, and as Matt has stated so clearly, very few people can tell for sure - I am not one of those people (and hopefully I don't give that impression).

I still believe the original sale price of $7050 was good value, and if I had that money, I would pay it - even with front end damage and a missing compliance plate.

I'm locking this thread now, but it's probably unnecessary. If you feel I've done the wrong thing (at any time), please PM me, or discuss it with the other moderators
