Kirsten, you should not have let that info out!!! Now Jess has finaly found her reason as to why you are faster than Cherry. You can't use the line, "I must be a better driver then"

But have you considered getting the head converted to Unleaded? Its not a big job while its in pieces, just changing a couple of vavles

You just need a little more faith in Cherry when it comes to cornering Jess.
You've only seen a sample so far of what Cherry is capable of when I was driving her :D And now with the brakes all good again you can hit the hills with alot more confidence as well.

that's a much better idea, put the 850 out front and everyone can go the same speed..... :)

what they mean is send your camshaft to Graham Russell and get a nice profile put on it to make more power than standard

Jess, consider doing a defensive driving course with Cherry...I did one with Jay 2 weeks after getting my provisional license.

It was such a great experience and now I know what my car can handle, I feel very safe driving it :)

The course teaches you heaps of things, and it's all in your own car so you get to know your mini.

It was considered, but it's not that much of an issue with 998's and 1098's. The guy says it's a rediculously tricky job even with everything off. I use a lead-substitute and octane booster everytime I fill up.

I had a dream the other night, I was running in my new engine...everything was just so smooth and powerful.

Forget about the smile on my face when I drive it for the first time...I've had a huge smile on my face since finding out it's a 1098cc

Actually it’s the other way around. It's to do with the shape of the combustion chambers. The small bore heads have a very exaggerated heart shape chamber, which keeps the exhaust valve/seat from cooling. Even a standard 1275 head is more rounded and lets the valve/seat cool.

As far as I know!
