Hi all at Ausmini. I'm Zach from Geelong and am in year 11. I saw a mini recently on the road with an ausmini.com sticker so i went online and found this site. i want to get a mini, because i think they are the coolest cars on the road. I am interested in dropping in a toyota 4e-fte turbo engine, from a gt starlet. has anyone done this, and could they give me any advice?

Hi. I'm Scott. It has been 4 days since my last drink...... :shock: oops...wrong meeting!!!

I am new here, but I am looking forward to reading what everyone has to say in the hope to learn more about my car which is a 65 delux - cooper replica. I also hope that I can pass on any experience I may have. :D

Zach, im in Yr 11 too, and Ive got a mini :D but im still waiting on getting my Ps. What sort of mini was it that had the ausmini sticker on it?

welcome Zach....do a search on starlet (whoa!! on this forum OK!) and you see what others are doing....

I'm also in year 11 and I own two mini's one 71 clubman S "The Heinz" and a 70 mini van mk2 "Vinnie" I am still waiting on getting my L's and I can get them in September (so you're all safe on the roads till then) Welcome blokes and you will all learn alot from all the "learned" people here at ausmini.

I saw a blue mini in geelong city, it was a few weeks ago, i think it had black stripes. pretty sure it was a roundie

I don't know of any blue Mini's with black stripes with ausmini.com stickers!

Theres a blue Clubby with black GT stripes, which has Victorian Mini Club Inc. stickers, maybe that was it?

Yeh my birthday was only on the 19th of March and now I have to wait until I'm 16 and a half to get my license well my L's for that matter

Why does this seem so weird?

I sort of thought that was the case because over here in good ol' QLD we can only go for ours once you turn 16 and a half it really sucks big time. If we could get our licenses early there would be too many kids with licences and acting stupid I know a few that would be absolute maniacs on the road (because they would lose their license after having it 5 minutes)
