Is this going anywhere?

Zizzle summed up the situation pretty well, opinions have been expressed, time to move on people. 8)

All I see is a kangaroo court featuring images and barely relevant anecdotes. But as long as you can take some pleasure in his discomfort, let the nose rubbing continue.

I just hope you are all as infallible on the roads as you all say you are.

So from reading this thread it seem that you are supposed to crash cars to learn how to drive. They probably should make it a P plate requirement. I suppose that is why the police award points. Maybe they should award more points for artistic merit. 8)

Ummmmm I'm not quite as hard line here, although holding a straight line is often a good thing.....I really don't understand how you can put an old head on young shoulders OR instantly transfer car control experience to a novice.

Its a learning experience....and sometimes learning is an experience :!:

I was just looking for that post where we all warned tiny about the slippery roads down in southern sydney....but there's nothing!
Seems this is all just post mortem.....

That would have ruined the bets in the sweep.

He pranged the car during the easter long weekend blitz. There has been TV and other media ramming home the message about driving safely during this time. Why should we be the ones to remind him.

You should always assume that the road is going to be slippery.
Just like you should always assume that the other guy isn't going to see you or isn't going to stop in time.

It wasn't his fault anyway.

Who would have thought a road would be slippery in the wet.

Maybe we should blame the govt for not posting "road slippery when wet signs" or "not navigating this successfully may result in a sudden loss of forward movement" on evey corner
