Mine tried to set itself on fire today when the HIF float bowl screw that acts as the hinge for the float came loose and wandered most of the way out. A nice stream of fuel was pouring off the carby and onto the subframe and diff housing near the exhaust.

took her to the workshop to get that oil leak sorted. other parts were needed that were not available just yet, so am now without my daily Mini til Monday at the earliest!

my missus didn't care as long as it wasn't gonna cost too much, wheras I'm looking at a 5.30am pushbike ride to work on Monday!

If she really cared for you she'd offer to drive you (after all that's what you'd be expected to do, no matter what)  .

I blew the diff tonight.....

Now stuck in Sydney....

Supposed to be heading to Brisbane tomorrow morning but that won't be happening.

If you can help out tomorrow, check this link: http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=78278

Otherwise, I have a couple of good offers for help on Monday.

Thanks for listening....

Watto. (wife and kids at home in Victoria not happy)

Hi folks.

Back in business - all fixed thanks to Greig Malaure at Mini Classic.

Read all about it here: http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... 418#879418 and in Issue 4 of BMCE.

Thanks to everyone for their support, phone calls, emails and messages.

Cheers,
Watto.
