Picked up a door skin and A panel from Mini Sport stand at the Mini show. also bought a new speedo cable - ran out of cash money so couldn'd 'waste' any more money  Took pictures of any car I thought belonged to someone on here but apart from Mattvan or was it MattMan - my hearing is not so good the only other Ausmin members I met were Watto and Myminirocks - but they were easy to find at their stands

Went to move the mini out of the shed this morning so my nephew could make me a tyre rack to store my spare wheels, ( he's doing a tech course in welding so i gave him a practice job ) .
When i pulled the choke out it was as tight as ,got it out after a couple of goes, turned key on waited a few second to get fuel up, all i got was a heap of bloody smoke from under the dash ! crap, raced around to the boot and shut the isolator off, ( thank god for the isolator, makes cutting power off a whole lot quicker ) pushed the bloody thing outside and went and changed the alternator on my Rodeo ute. Well let me tell you i thought mini's were hard to work on because of a lack of room , this thing was a joke.
Any way ,got that job done , ( 5 hrs ) pushed the mini back in shed with the shits cause i can tell it aint gunna be a fun job i can tell, haven't got a clue as to why it smoked up but i'm sure it's not good, job for another day.

Got the door skin home as baggage on the plane. Arrived home to find a parcel from Mini Spares with my adjustable front suspension bits and front Timken roller bearings and some other bits and pieces for door hardware.

Well it wasn't done just today and it wasn't on a mini but all related.....INFERSTRUCTURE
Image
Setting up the container and sorting everything takes a long time, and that's only half of my mini stuff
And I built a swivel mini seat 8)
Image
any mini seat should bolt straight on using std mounts plus it's angled back for lazy reclining and reflection on the mini projects.

I backed the van off the trailer and took it for a fang around town to charge the battery.
Happy days. :D

I changed my thermostat to a 92°C one to compliment the piece of steel sheet covering up 2/3 of the grill. Runs sweeter now.

Points, condenser and an oil change tomorrow and maybe even a wash.
