thanks to 'clubmn'
My Twin carbies arrived today,
so i took them down and had a look at it,
Them and of cause the exhaust pipe are the only things that are left to do i think,
so depending on how long that takes will decide when i get it back

and then i can get to scrubbing it all up nice,
and putting lots of random stickers and things and plates ive bought for it over time, or when they come :P

interesting

And will it was long drives straight up?

Search for Drmini's tips on running in new engines.
From memory, high idle to bed the tappets in first, then the normal running in schedule.

Well
after expecting a call saying she's a goer on friday, all i got was a call saying
theres not much room and can you see if you can find some air cleaners, which they said they would sort out for me.

So i rang around today, the auto part shops on the Coast,
and there was not a shop that had 1/1/4" su air cleaners in stock,
Silly people

so i asked a few if they could get some in,
One place said Ram Flos were about 60 bucks, and the time was anywhere from a few days for 'quick' post, or 1-4 weeks normal ordering time.
another place said about 50 bucks

and the place i went with said
$39.50, and they are almost guaranteed overnight post, (about 10 bucks).
So that is a good price, and there you see the usual great prices of the island

So i should get them tomorrow, and then ill go in and see about the
'not much space' the mechanics told me about,
they think they are going to have to do some heavy work to make the extractors and carbies fit,
but it shuold all be good in the end :)
