It went from 1098cc to 1132cc...I haven't driven it yet but have been for a quick wizz in the street as a passenger.

It looks so mean without the bonnet on

Moreso when you drive around without a bonnet and an exhaust 8)

My hearing took a beating that day, driving 5km to get the exhaust fabricated

Driving a flipfront around with no front is also fun!

Great work on the engine, and with everyone else, i'm very much liking the detail on the engine! Top stuff.

He spent at least 20hours over 2 weekends working on my engine.

My maths puts me at around 25hrs, about 20 of those being the weekend just gone. Had a few hiccups but its all running pretty sweet. Just a bit of oil dribbling out of one of the sideplates and a bit of water leaking from the 2 temp senders which shouldnt be too hard to fix, the aftermarket one in the head may be a hassle though.

I'm just glad it started so incredibly easy, i must have done a good job... :D
Heres to hoping it lives a nice long life.

Firstly I'm glad your back up and running, Kirsten, great to here.

I thought that was what a your mechanic's job was, to ensure the car is running to its full potential and correctly? Key to stopping that happen again, is regular maintenance and service. I drop the sump on mine, fuel filter change, oil filter change, dissy tune up, timing, radiator fluid, and other things every 2 -3 weeks. Though I do use the car alot, going to and from Brisbane, for uni 4 days a week, plus travelling all around the Goldie Coast, from day to day. But it pays off, I have never had a break down yet! Something for you to consider i guess.

Lockie, I don't know what your game is but you're going about the right way to not having any friends.
