The Moke Drop looked just like the Mini Drop that May did in James May's 20th Century. He dropped a Mini - not quite as high - onto a pane of toughened glass, the kind used on skyscrapers, to show just how tough the glass is. The Mini bounced exactly the same way. I wonder if someone will now say that they're just copying the UK version of the show by dropping the Moke..? :P

Not a bad first effort. It was no Polar Challenge or Botswana but it was certainly watchable. :) That said, I did only just watch it in the last hour.

forgot it was on and only noticed at 7.55, so we saw the last 35 mins or so.

Much better, still needs to improve but so much better already I think they've taken note of alot of the criticism, after all it's not like they set out to make a bad show.

Even my wife noted that it was better that they just introduced the Stig in the Lambo without doing the "Some Say..."

I think it still sucks [email protected] of them have got much personality or charisma and it all still seems forced and desperate.

A vast improvement on Series 1, so much so that the wife and I even watched until the end without cringing in embarrasment . There's still a way to go until it reaches the same slick performance as their British counterparts; but let's give credit to the producers for listening to their critics and making the changes they did.
