Found out why the heater in LSee wasn't working. Pulled the heater out of the car and found the whole system was filled up with gunk. The heater tap was clogged solid.

After a good wash out and blow through with the compressor, all seems clear now. Won't really know if it works until I put it back in the car and try it but that won't be until next week.

Also found out why my fuel guage didn't work. The float in the fuel tank was full of petrol so I drilled a small hole in the end, got all the fuel out and resealed it with a hot soldering iron and bingo, now it works.

Stipped all the interior out so as I can fix a few small rust spots on the floor then will paint some black noise suppressor stuff on before I put in new insulation (the one with the bitumen between two layers of felt). New carpet will also be going in later.

After the coldness of late, I think it's about time I started investigating why my heater doesn't HEAT!
