Hi Mick,
I was dragging my '61 850 there, about then.
It was 1220cc, twin Amal Monobloc carbs, 1100S head and 544 cam. 997 Cooper gearbox.
It did low 16s on 145/10 Olympic GT radials. :)

Woo Hooo! Nice! Those monoblocs were a nice carb...found on a lot of Brit bikes...

So what do you think has happened in the picture? Fiat got a hole shot? Staged start? The attitude of the Traveller is either set up that way or it is waiting for its start (maybe)...
