What causes noisy rockers?

Incorrect adjustment, or wear, or both, or none?

RE-13 cam is noisier than stock, as the opening/closing is sharper, like many true performance cams. Get used to it....
 Put a Weber/Dellorto on then you won't hear it...

Set them to .016" unless you have 1.5 rockers on it.

the good Doc set them last time, prolly to .016 or .017

I retorqued the head tonight, and they were out a bit.

Yes, I find them VERY noisy and it pisses me off! I am contemplating changing rockers.....

I did fit an alloy rocker cover tonight too....that might help.

Haven't road tested yet though......

What rockers do you have, I think they were the pressed metal ones (good) and didn't fell too sloppy on the shafts when I did them.
Yes an alloy cover does help.
Or you can go back to a stocko cam and lose all that urge...

Just wondered how much you really hate the noise. I see I hit the intended nerve. 8)
