Hi all, I've just purchased a mini k rolling shell which needs a bit of work on the shell. The drivers sill is rusted and has an outer sill welded over the top. I am planning on replacing both sills but not sure what the original sill looked like. Just confirming it is the same as the Mk1 with the 4 indents. I saw on the youtube video below a 1969 mini k which has 6 raised sections on the sill (about 29-30 seconds into clip) but is this original?: https://youtu.be/6LA6sZOwSdA |

I would use the 4 vent mk1 panel, you will get a better finish as the curve is shaped in to it. |

Could you send a link. I was thinking of this as an option: https://oz.minisport.com/mcr11-33-01-28 ... mk1-3.html |

Yeah, it's stripped down completely for a rebuild so may as well get it looking as original as possible. There is an over-sill on the drivers side at the moment which I'll remove. The drivers footwell is ok but has been patch in a couple of places and there is hole towards the back. The mk1 complete sill to 1st groove should sort out all the rough parts. |
