I'm looking at replacing the Solex Mikuni carb for my mini when I finally have it running and came across the FAJS Weber. I looked on the Weber website which said that it is a Chinese copy of the weber 40dcoe but not up to the same standard. But looking around at different Weber carb set ups and nearly all that I seen in packages use the FAJS carb. Does anyone have any experience using this carb? Are they any good? Or just junk? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

My friend James had a couple The first IDF copy leaked fuel out of the carb body and had to get replaced The DCOE copy was just poor quality - threads were really soft A good condition used Weber or Dellorto is my choice. Other people might have been lucky with the FAJS ones |

I agree with Dr. A second-hand Weber or Dellorto with a kit put through it will always be better then a poor quality replica. |
