when i put the 1 3/4 on mine it was the same thing it was way to rich and was just drenching the plugs in fuel , check your plugs if they are dry more fuel , if are wet back it off

I've got a dumb question (sorry not trying to steal the thread meeni).. I don't know much about carbs.. I unscrewed the little black cap and pulled it out and put it back in (i was curious).. but now the cars not starting properly either.. I have the choke out but it just seems to idle really low and die out, unless I give it revs.. Was I not supposed to unscrew that little black cap?

Hmmm yes I see time to get Grandpa out.

Get a professional out to help. But hey don't you work part time in a Mini Specialist workshop? That's what you told us.

Maybe if you weren't such a pain in the ass a nearby enthusiest might help.

You crack me up Sean, when you waste peoples time by saying 'I'm just a poor 14 yo with no money' yes I've seen your stupic ebay questions!!!! So that race car is a no no now?

Not true at all. I have learnt allot from others. You do learn from paying others.

Sean before you spend any $$$ on your Mini going on your previous threads why not an English tutor?

as ben said, it starts (means yes fuel)
and then stops (maybe too much fuel)

so looking at the carby from the top, turn the nut (on the bottom of) the carby anti-clockwise
this will lean it, and hopefully stop floading
