I don't have a formula for it but Classic Gold Metallic 10488 is listed for 1967 and Classic Gold Metallic 13259 is listed for 1971 on the paint charts. Attachment: Engine colours.jpg

Were these engines over painted? My K is a very flaky gold, and underneath is standard BMC dark green. |

LolSent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk Apologies for the confusion. My engine was painted gold all over as it should be, but the paint is flaking away to reveal BMC green underneath. I wondered whether it was painted green first and then gold once it known it would be going in a K. |
