Just wandering how the bonnet spring and latch is? Is it painted the same colour as the car ? One of the last things that need to be painted on my car. Cheers |

I would say that your car was painted. Car 3400 was. Attachment: YKG2S2 3400 Bonnet latch pin and spring.jpg Some cars were just plated. Just depends if the latch hardware was attached when the car was painted. |

I don't know the exact change point for the painted vs unpainted bonnet locks but going off a few photos I have of unrestored cars it looks like early cars were painted and from mid to late 1969 they were unpainted. |
