Having great difficulty getting the bottom ball joint far enough into the arm to even get a thread to grab onto. Hole in the bottom arm looks too small for the ball joint to even go through. Is there a trick?

lf you have replaced the lower arm bushes you may have put the lower arms on the wrong side of the car. They are not interchangible.Just make sure the hole on the lower arm is wider at the top.
