... and a little bit of function.

Lloyd never came to me with centre caps. Always puzzled me with 63.5mm centres on the rims what to do until I found ...

Bullets! Though they look more like rockets on the 10".

If anyone could point me to the right set of lug nuts now ... theyre looking a bit skanky.

11/16 AF socket will move them. 13/14mm across on the narrow round part. 20mm across on the longest hex. About 30mm long all up which is about 18mm on the hex and 12 on the round. Measure a bit rough. Seen the Minisport offerings but not sure.

Yes they're the right ones. The chrome wears through eventually.
I bought a new set of SS ones from Matt Read (Readspeed) in Brisbane a few years ago. Not sure if he still gets them made.

Edit:
These nuts locate on the inside corner of the steel washers already in the wheels.
Do NOT put extra washers on (Contessa nut sets used to come with washers too). It's an unsafe practice, the wheels won't run true.

Brand new starter motor came today. Damn. What a difference.

Old one up for grabs cost is postage. It'll need some kind of therapy. Me too after battling with it for so long.

Just to put it out there, I was advised against stainless wheel nuts by a tyre and wheel shop as they were prone to seizing apparently. No idea on the truth or not but as SS nuts are now readily available it may be false info.

SS nuts are fine on steel wheel studs, with a little lube on the threads only.
Trust me, I'm a fitter/machinist and engineer. :D

Ha yep have a molygrease habit. Put it on almost everything with a thread. Good on toast in the morning too. Never tried Copper Antisieze though. Imagine would be better on white bread and need a bit of butter?

Not that it’s got anything to do with mini wheel nuts, but I got caught using stainless nuts with stainless bolts (won’t stay done up - very bad on a motorbike!).
