ok heres my story
i have a 76 corolla and the engine is dead
i just sold two minis i failed to fix up to a legend of a bloke so i hope he gets what he needs out of them
my car is dead and i hate driving normal boring cars, i want a mini and i want one NOW
so i need (if possible) i need help in
1)finding out how to join the mini club
2) finding a mini
3) advice on what to do and what not to do
i know its a big ask but from what i have read everyone on these forums are here to talk mini and not be poo dudes
so if you could help in anyway i would be so so so thankful,
ps) i saw three minis on parramatta road, (burwood and parra) that were so so so sweet

poo dudes :?: :?: :?: ummmm yeah :? O...kay..

1)finding out how to join the mini club...PM Mr Bob

2) finding a mini...look in the paper or the for sales on Ausmini

3) advice on what to do and what not to do...

to do: get yourself a Mini

not to do: fix the Corolla (although if it is an early one ....well they are great little motors)

If you bin the Corolla motor, keep the rockers, they go great in 1275 Mini engines... more valve lift = more power!! :P

Hey

As far as joining the mini club goes, that and Ausmini are the two best things for finding out what you need to know before purchase - I wish I knew about either of them before buying mine!!!

To join the club, just click the link on my signature and download the membership form from the club's website.

As well as the for sale forum on here, there's for sales on the mini club web page.

What's your budget?

Whats sort of Mini are you after? Round nose? Clubman? Original or Modified? etc etc.

Also, where in Sydney are you? This will all help the guys on here help you 8)

Welcome aboard!!

im in ashfield which is about 20 mins from the city
well im willing to get in debt with the bank so i can get a mini so im thinking about 5000, i had two round noses but i will sway, ill take what is good, modified is fine, i eventually want to do a clean mod on the one i get, something clean not stupid
i wanted to fix one up in the order of a nice paintjob, then the interior, then the engine brakes ect ect, by that time i would have learnt how to drive a mini without killing it, no to concerned about myself, just the mini haha
thanks for the help

I personally like the roundies, but they each have their strong points. If you ever want to do an engine conversion get a clubman - more room in the front to add stuff.

Come to a meeting or two - we have our enthusiasts meeting next friday at ashfield so you have no excuses!!! check our web page for details.
