Hi everyone.

My mini that I'm reconstructing has a aftermarket sunroof (circa 1980-90 I'm guessing).

I've heard on the grapevine that VicRoads is asking for engineering for sun roofs on cars registered on club plates.

Has anyone come up against this? I'm trying to figure out if the sunroof is going to be too much like hard work to refit.

More than likely it would need one as it wasn't factory fitted

If it has been previously registered with the sunroof then there is precedence.
Also vicroads do not need to see or inspect the vehicle, that is the job of the RWC mechanic.
if it does not need an engineer certificate for anything else then the sunroof is not a concern.
