Shannons Aug/Sept auction has 2 Mk2 Cooper S's for sale. One listed on the ausmini register, the other not (from a deceased estate). Both expected to sell in the $45-55k range

There is also a very nice jet red/white Mk2 S on carsales. Won car of show and best Cooper S at 2018 Qld mini muster. A very originally minded restored car from what I can see. Seems better value for an original car than the auction cars - depends what you are after.

Nothing that a set of stamps couldn't fix.

Red one on carsales has the correct motor. Red one on Shannon’s besides the 1100s motor, has a different (later metro?) head as well.

Just read this part on the auction for the red car maybe one of pommy bastards cars

Inspired by fond memories of a Cooper owned back in the day, the current owner was able to secure this very special car in 2010, joining a small collection of classic cars based in the Southern Highlands region of NSW.

Yep, $80,500 + 5% buyers premium. Crazy money for a not so original car. Just my 2c

So $80,500 plus $4,025 equals $84,525 that the buyer paid. Plus shipping if needed.

WOW !!
