I have gone through the search function and I cannot see a solution to fixing a jammed door assembly. Basically key or no key I cannot seem to move the latch that grips the door to shut it.

Has anyone had luck releasing it? The bit circled in the image is what I am referring to.

what you need to do is get a screwdriver and put it were the latch would go pull the lever as if you were trying to open the door and slide the screwdriver out should undo it and put it back to were it should be if that makes sense
