I was hoping someone would point me to a posting on Ausmini that I noticed some time ago. The post provided advice on the order to do things when putting a Mini back together after a restoration.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for. I assume you are rebuilding from a bare shell and not just meaning the engine & gearbox. It's pretty generalised and skips over many details.

I am in the same position. Just flatting and compounding the paintwork before I put too many parts onto the shell. Have fitted hydro, brake, fuel pipes and battery lead to underside so far. Subframes will be next, with some things pre-fitted and others fitted later.
