Okay so you know my situation.
7.5" brand new discs... 2000 big ones.
Lot of money.
For what they are.
Really.

I could do, for 2000 dollars, BRAND new Superlite 12" wheels with rubber, AND Rover 8.4" Disc brakes.

I do love my 10" wheels, but FWIW, i feel that the bigger discs will be better suited for my style of driving.

12" Wheels, like Josh's, do look the part, especially on clubbies, but i still prefer the 10".

Let me know of your thoughts.
Thanks
.

willy.

Joke = dicks. :roll:

2000 for discs... hmm.
MiniSport has the kits for 1995 in his store.
Then they require building.

It's a clubman, go 12" rims. If it was a roundie, then that question would be alot harder to answer!

Yer he's good if you've got a bottomless bank account.
I'm sure his customer service is wonderful, but have you tried dealing with other Mini parts suppliers?
That can be CHEAPER.

Yep willy. I rang everywhere before minisport. and the service was crap house.. and minis sports disks were up to 300 cheeper then the others. I do shop around. and do get a few things from other places. but mini sport are really not that $$.. I ask for quotes for about 20 things. he has the list faxed back the same day. then I looked at mini spares UK.. (the home of his stock) and ther was no difference in price on most things. and you don't have to pay the postage from UK and Tax..

Yeah he can "pass the savings on to you" by ordering lots and lots of new stuff from the UK.
I suppose it helps when he's got lots of customers that are willing to buy stuff from him, that he can do big orders like that.

Just a thought :?

for sure.. I think he just got 80K worth of new parts over.. thats what it comes down to... but after all the phone calls I have made to other places in the last 2 months... I will not wast my time at other store even if they are a few $ cheeper..

I never take my business to places that scew me around.

but its still a saving
you cant expect someone who is in the buisness of selling parts and doing mechanical work to charge mates rates or simply pass on things for next to nothing
