Post subject:  Alternate low back autotecnica seats

Has anyone fitted these? I’m leaning towards them as they are not too high on the sides to climb in to, but they are wider in the seat than their other popular style (540 vs 480).

Not seen these but I just fitted Cobra cubs from Minisport. Nice seats

Its OK if you don't want to because you like the look of low back seats, but I have to say it.. if you're changing the seats to something non-original, get seats with a headrest. We're driving ridiculously unsafe cars as it is, but it's something you can do that'll literally save your neck

Yes, you are right, it’s just that I struggle with the look of highbacks in a mk1. I think I’ll just leave the originals in, at least for the time being.

Yes just fitted a set to my GT. Made some brackets off the factory original mounts.
A bit of time with the portapower to make them about 25mm wider and they are very comfortable.
Come with slides and are ADR approved.
Good value nicely finished product.
