I have been running a Accuspark Stealth Blackbox for about the last decade, and it's been healthy and reliable throughout, operating from an Accuspark dizzy module (in a locked 29d), and firing a 3 Ohm coil (Bosch SU12R). I will lift my engine out shortly for an inspection and spruce up, and I think I'll replace my Stealth Blackbox, as I haven't been able to access it without a copy of Windows 10 on a laptop. I've been out of the game of watching new mini things on the market, but I figure there must be newer inline versions available equivalent to the Blackbox, but what are they? Are there any app based versions, perhaps with Bluetooth connectivity? Cheers Mick |

I’ve recently had help from Gambo to install a virtual machine on my windows laptop so I can run the Accuspark program. Like you mines been running pretty well the last few years But I've also bought a CB Performance Black Box, which is a similar concept but also has a map sensor for vacuum advance. It has a much bigger timing table and you can tune it live. I haven't received it or installed it yet, but it had been running well with a Pulsar dissy https://www.cbperformance.com/product-p/2013.htm There aren’t many of the in-line based programmable timing modules, the only other was the aldon amethyst 123 makes a Bluetooth compatible version, also with a MAP sensor but I’ve not seen any being used and how easy it is to use or the amount of points available |
