I have never been able to use those clips with the boot seal. You get a few on, thinking you are winning then the rubber slips off. I end up gluing the strip on. And the clips are quite expensive, too. |

The best way I found to put them in was with a 90 degree spot weld chisel. That was after I destroyed a lot and the seal other ways. |

I just pushed them in with a pair of long nosed pliers broke a couple but don't remember having a lot of difficulty |
