Hello All , The speedo dial bounces at low speeds as it gets to 40 or over the dial is steady, anyone had this problem ? Allen |

Could it have something to do with a 310 cam and touchy clutch? - apologies I am no help on this matter |

I had that problem. The gauge shop supplied me a new speedo cable, they said some of them have the nylon guide in the speedo end off centre, which can cause the low speed wobble |

If timmy201's suggestion isn't the issue, could it possibly be the return spring losing a bit of its original tension in the low speed range, after all these years? |

A new cable would be the simplest and cheapest thing to rule out.. |

I had the same problem as yours. Replaced with new speedo (wanted to do that anyway), and new inner speedo cable. Made no difference, but just today I fitted new complete speedo cable and it’s now perfect. |
