Hello All ,
The speedo dial bounces at low speeds as it gets to 40 or over the dial is steady, anyone had this problem ?

I had that problem. The gauge shop supplied me a new speedo cable, they said some of them have the nylon guide in the speedo end off centre, which can cause the low speed wobble

If timmy201's suggestion isn't the issue, could it possibly be the return spring losing a bit of its original tension in the low speed range, after all these years?

A new cable would be the simplest and cheapest thing to rule out..

I had the same problem as yours. Replaced with new speedo (wanted to do that anyway), and new inner speedo cable. Made no difference, but just today I fitted new complete speedo cable and it’s now perfect.
