I had one of those. The use was best described as allowing for water to land perfectly on the dizzy and the alternator when it was wet!

Mine is different again. Rain/water drops down onto weber/hot extractors, side vent nowhere near dizzy. Ran it on my old mk2 S until it was sold with its original bonnet. I will strip and paint both for the resto.

If Anyone has a bonnet like this they would like to sell let me know. Ive been looking for one for a while.
Alternatively if anyone knows anywhere in Adelaide that could do the vents that would also work.

Ask around your local hot rod shops for anyone that can do louvres. Generally they need to unpick the skin from the frame to do the louvres, depending on the layout.

Another alternative is getting some premade panels and welding or riveting them in.

If you let the air out of the top of the bonnet it won't go through the radiator...
