When machining the working face of the clutch pressure plate I believe it is important to maintain the correct height between this face and the top of the mounting posts.
Can any one enlighten me as to this dimension and is there a tolerance applicable?

I believe it is 25.0mm. that's what my local brakes and clutch shop has always machined mine to.

Bear in mind the flywheel face could have been machined in the past so it's important to check the assembled height. The spring should be flat or slightly less, when assembled with a new clutch driven plate.
So the pressure plate may need a little more taken off the 3 lugs if so.
