Putting a remote shifter into an 850. Anyone got any measurements or even just a photo?

56 cm to 65 cm from the passenger door sil

4 cm to 16 cm forward of crossmember

I would cut it a bit smaller to start with then test and adjust as needed

How difficult is it to fit a remote shifter in an 850 with a RC40, while keeping the starter button?

Have the remote shifter, RC40 (1&7/8?) and 850 push button start in my Monaco which is based on a 62 850.
Made sure the battery cables had the lugs on the best way to keep them away from the exhaust.
No problems with it.

I had to give the exhaust pipe a bit of a hit with the hammer to give clearance. With the exhaust tucked up a bit more it had made contact before I added the divot
