I am puting the heater duct back into a 1972 Clubman - The under gaurd bit.

Is there a steel spacer between the front plastic bit and the flexible duct - ref first photo.

A similar spacer to that attached to the 90 degree bend in the second photo.

Yes there is a steel sleeve each end of the flex tube
Can I ask where you got the flex tube from ?
I also need to fit the ducting to my van
Thanks

Thanks Slacko,
Flex tube came from Minisport SA.
So far it looks the goods.
Any idea where I might find the missing steel tube?

It looks to be made from thick aluminium foil - no cardboard or paper involved.
Good fit on the sleeve, and a good length once extended.
