BMC Australia updated the list of available body paint and interior trim colours every year or so with some dropping off the list and others being added. The published paint colour cards and paint manufacturer documents are here - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=66469 Dealer salesmen had access to various resources to show the potential customer what their colour selection would look like. Apart from actual cars on the showroom floor and the colour cards referenced above they had a book with transparencies of vehicles available at the time and colour swatches of available body colours. Below are images of the BMC Australia colour guide and a similar UK version.
