Does anyone know the whereabouts or owner of this car? I have the Drivers handbook and Passport to Service and am willing to pass it on to the genuine owner.

Sorry mate but I haven't seen that one pop up at all. I would say the register details are from the Passport and are probably from your post back in 2008. If I come across the car I will let you know.

Oh well it was worth a try. Maybe the engine will turn up?
Thanks GTO.

Maybe it belongs to a beautiful blue ex-Works rally Cooper S with Amals and custom wiring?

HaHa, that humour will go over most heads, but Wild-Willy did the exquisite works wiring loom in my car. Simon Young of British Sports Cars in Bendigo who has restored two genuine original works cars in Australia, and countless replicas described the wiring as "the best works loom I have seen". Again i will add that the project was so good because many people including Winabbey contributed ideas, parts, and encouragement. An important thing to remember for all of us is: We are only custodians of these incredible cars.
Cheers Lindsay

Far too kind Lindsay.

I have to say that Lindsay's obsessive attention to detail and originality with this restoration has resulted in conserving a famous piece of historic Mini rally history. Loved being a little part of that. A must see for all Mini fans.
