Hi all, what is everyone doing for stock 10 inch tyres to fit standard ten inch 850 style steel rims? |

For 3.5” rims you will need to use 145 tyres. There seems to be a few to choose from at the moment: Falken SN807 Yokohama Y350 GT Special Aquajets Blockley 145 Dunlop SP10 Dunlop SP175 Some are available locally, some from the UK, and some from Japan via eBay. I’d suggest you get some car tyres and not trailer or light truck tyres |

There is the Nankang TR10 too but those are just another light truck tyre so best avoided. |

The Falken ones have great cases, I have 2 on the boat trailer they're 15 years old, about 1/2 worn and no cracks anywhere. |

Has anyone used the SP10s? Without going to 5" rims or at least 4.5", I am looking for the best tyre for the 3.5" rims. I'm not a fan of the Falkens. |

A guy on the 850 Facebook page bought a set of the SP10 via eBay for his project. The only feedback I’ve seen so far is that the tyre shop was impressed and they needed minimal balance weights. |

That's all I have seen too, the only other information is a few reviews on amazon Japan which don't say much. I like that they are made in Japan but that doesn't mean they are better. |

So I ended up going with the SP10's and ordered a set of five from Japan via Ebay. They are due to me by late May or early June, i'll advise when they turn up. |

Where did you find a listing for a set of five? I only see the set of four. Is there something that made you choose the SP10s? |

I emailed the seller and asked for a price on five, he was more than happy to accommodate. I went with the SP10's as to be honest what was available in Australia was really limited and either on par for cost or dearer. Time will tell if I made the right decision. |

So my trusty order of five tyres arrived from Japan safe and sound and only took five days to my door. Cant recommend the Ebay seller highly enough and was a total of $725 landed including GST. I hope to get them fitted over the next couple of days. |

I bought some and have noticed that the three that I've fitted have an unusually large dynamic imbalance. All three require 60g near the yellow dot and 50g, 50g and 30g on the inside diagonally opposite. I've rotated the tyres and the weights follow the tyres not the rims. It shouldn't cause a big issue but it's a bit odd, especially for a 10" wheel. |
