Post subject: | Brake bleading issues. |
hey guys. I'm just having a bit of trouble with my brakes, the pedel is fairly squishy so the other day I decided i would blead the system. On the backs i could only get a trickle of fluid to come out, and i couldn't push the pedel to the floor with the blead nipple undone. it was the same for both sides. when i did the fronts, i could get a lot more fluid out and the pedel would go all the way to the floor. what would cause so little fluid to come out of the rears? i certainly don't think this is normal, but correct me if i'm wrong. Cheers, Cazmo |

Don't think you can buy the rear limiting valve now, Karcraft don't list the Lockheed seal kit for it any more either. ![]() |

The problem will be the rear hoses,,, it`s nearly allways the rear hoses,,, the pressure limiting valve hardly ever stuffs up,,, & even if it did, normally it would just not work, but would still allow fluid to come through Replace both your rear hoses & bleed it all again & you should be fine Point of warning tho!!!!!!!!!!!....If you go to bleed the front, --->you`ll need to "UN-ADJUST" them,,,then bleed them & then "ADJUST" them back up to do it properly,,,that is unless you have front disc brakes, then just happilly let them gravity bleed away ![]() easy-peasy ![]() |
