Just wondering what’s happening with the cooper S market at the moment? I’m tossing up whether to sell my xu-1 and maybe buy an S What are good original cars bringing these days ? I know the xu1 market has dropped a fair amount… |

I reckon everything is down across the board at the moment but the top echelon cars will hold their own over time. Like an XU1 Purchase, make sure you get the thing authenticated. |

This one on car sales ( https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1970-morris-mini-cooper-s-manual/SSE-AD-17726019/ ) is what I consider a good restored fairly original car. I know the previous owner who purchased and restored it a few years ago - winning a few mini concours on the way [build diary on this site]. No association with current owner etc etc, just know some of it’s previous history and have driven it in the past. |

It sure looks the part , was 75k dropped to 69k and still unsold. Do you know if it’s got its original engine etc ? |
