today after got back to my car and the back wheels had been moved up onto the grass up the curb! 
some bloody loosers! they dont really know that they can screw up the panels on the car by doing it, and they dont realise its not just a hunk'o'crap car like most of the other p plate cars parked around the school. Ok, so who else has had this happen to them? |

I have had some dim wits do that to mine but Luckly I had a couple of people to help me get it off the kerb as it was a high one and I did not want to Drive it off. |

I'm 100% serious here.. go buy some razor wire (or something of similar effects) then place it in the spots where people would most like lift the car from.. Just make sure you don't scratch the paint work and try and hide it so it doesn't look ugly. I don't think they can sue you for damages or anything... that only applys on property doesnt it? |

At high school a guy had a suzuki alto type thing, the rugby team just couldn't resist picking it up whenever they went past. Teenage males, too young, too stoopid.... 
An alarm with motion detection is the best weapon against this kind of stupidity.

Ahh youth! Used to happen to me all too frequently, mostly from my mates 
You soon learn to make sure: - handbrake is on - in gear - steering lock engaged (in a clubby, natch )
Motion alarms only seem to encourage them... Did you know you can quite easily push a mini across a gravel car park if only the handbrake is on? Found that out the hard way

If you coat grease or dog poo to where they lift from they may not do it again.
They may however wipe dog poo or grease all over your car!

With steering lock, another school mate who was quite small compared to the rest of us had an XD Falcon on which he would always put the steering lock on. So the same mob decided to try their luck on his car (logic: big car small owner as opposed to small car), and with no real chance of lifting the ford tank, ended up moving / dragging it. They completely rooted his steering lock, the force of the movement having bent the mechanism. Why did all of this seem so funny to me 16 years ago, and now it appears so stupid? willy? Aussie16? Any ideas?

Many years ago when I had my last Mini I can remember taking a nap in the back seat one night as I was too tired to drive anymore. Anyway to make a long story short at around 3am some guys came along and tried to pick the back of my Mini up with me inside of it. They did not realize I was in there and when I kicked the side window and yelled abuse at them they soon took off in a hurry. Stupid idiots think its funny picking on a poor defenceless little Mini... |

yeh u kno wot else is easy to pick up? a lil charade! ahh! one of my friends had a lovely lil charade..the '85 model..nice n easy to lift up. so the boys almost at every time they saw it, would not just lift it on the curb, but hide it under some nearby trees.. hmm

Yeah i had this happen to me when i was parked at college a few months back... none of my friends admitted to doing it or knowing who did it... i was pretty p*ssed of about it and they knew it (mainly cause it bends panels and breaks fibreglass flares). Its never happened since. |

Well its gotta be the people who know you. Well. In your year. Its never happened to me. And if it does, and i find out who it was, i'll **** kill them. Or egg their house or make annoying prank calls to their family and stuff. |
