Hey

For any Sydney-ites who don't have to work Tomorrow Morning, A mate and I are going to Homebush Bay to watch the start of the East Coast Targa.

There should be some SWEET cars there and a bit of action as they have a couple of special stages set up around the olympic site.

According to the spectator Instructions I have in my hot little hands, Special Stage one starts at 8:05am.
Quote:
BEST VANTAGE POINT- Grassed Embankment at the corner of Olympic Boulevard & Shirley Strickland Ave.
Come down and check it out - should be good. I'll try and remember to take the ol' camera and post some piccies tomorrow night.

Tassiean Targa Tasmania Champions, Nephew and Uncle John and Jason White will be trying their new car out for the 1st time in a race in this rally.
It is the car that Paul Stokell? (or allenby, i think allenby fisished though) stokell crashed it in Targa Tassie this year, and the Whites bought the Lambo, before they get their 2007 Skyline at a latter date.

It will be interesting to see how they go with it

that's the Stokell car.

Allenby's car can now be seen on the streets of adelaide, minus the warpaint but still with the rollbar. i got a nice up-close-n-personal look at it last week.

Well um.....yeah....um.....well

I was trying to avoid admitting this, but well, um, I forgot the camera

Bummer too, because a guy in a Beamer lost it and hit a pole right in front of us! Funny Stuff!!

I'd be pissed off royally If I'd shelled out over 3 grand in entry fees, and crashed not 50 metres from the start of the first stage!!!! He kept going, but I wonder If he finished the event??
