Started checking out theminiforum.co.uk, and found
this thread. A brief synopsis: Hyabusa engine, mid mounted, with a massive turbo and nitrous. Including nitrous intake cooling for another umpteen horsepower. And he's doing more or less all of it himself, including a roof chop and custom carbon roof. Oh, and building a de dion rear axle from scratch. Normally I don't fancy minis without an A series, but this is unfreakin' believeable.
One thing theminiforum has which is quite neat is a forum for projects. So JAM and so on would have their own thread for their project and everyone could keep current with them. Seems like a nice idea for building an even better community and keep the whole thing nice and neat and tidy. Once I get more time to do more than change the oil, I might get started on rust & paint work.
