Ok, so I finish work at 10.30 tonight and go to a friends party, I park around the corner because I dont want anyone touching my car.
Take some mates home/to another party later on in the night and then came back to the party about 1.15 or so...not many people were still there so I parked infront of the house and went inside just to see how things were going and I was about to head home soon anyway so 20 mins later I walk back out to my car and I was absolutely f@$%ing spewing
Some bogan had ripped my rear vision mirror right off and took it!!! So I go around the back of the car to see if anything else was damaged, no, keep walking around to the other side of the car and..
My front passanger window had been absolutely smashed in and the whole car was filled with glass pieces!
Luckily nothing was stolen! (Thank god ...just spent heaps on sub, amp etc.)
So then I spend 20 mins in the rain getting all the little bits of glass off the seats so I can drive home, cutting my hands up. Then i drive home with rain poaring into the car through the window.
So yea as you can tell im pretty bloody pissed :!:

FAAAAARK...

Was it drunk bogans just having fun, or was there a brawl that ended up ontop of your car???

Hopefully not a projectile like a brick or something

You'd better go see Steve at Brickworx. Buy a 2nd hand Rover laminated windscreen off him.

As you said, at least its all still there.

Partys suck. The ones that I have been to always end up having cars trashed in the street (usually by some wally school footy player trying to show off to his friends). Some tried to hit up my car once..... but they wont try again - I made sure of that

Aussie you must really live in Boganville. I often worry about leaving Brom outside. Mostly worried about the badges being flogged. With the price of mini parts would it be worth claiming your damage on insurance? maybe an upgrade to bullet mirrors?

I know what you are on about aussie.years ago I had someone break into my clubby outside my mum and dads place.. wankers smashed the passengers side quarter window after ****ing all the locks chipping paint. they stole my reat parcel shelf .... it had alpine 5 1/4 2 ways and a 8" sub.. if the wankers had just tryed the door handles.... the passenger side door never locked. so they could have just opened it....

And it was not in a bogan area... stupid bogans now go to the good area to flog sh1t...

bastards

Ok Aussie...... .sorry to hear about that....... BUT

You made the simple mistake of driving to a party full of teenage f*&kheads who will be prone to acts of stupidity eveytime they even sniff alcohol............

Hopefully the lesson has been learnt

Sorry to hear about this mate. Do you think that an alarm might have limited the damage or even buy you some piece of mind for next time you park your car somewhere strange?

low life f__ks <shakes head>

Why shouldn't you be able to drive your mini to a party without worring it's going to get smashed up, broken into or whatever!! You'd love to get a hold of em.

Sorry to hear it aussie.

BC

what are you talking about, upgrade??? hahaha

OZ, thats friggin crap. good move parking your car around the corner. a better move still is to squeeze it into the actual party where you can keep an eye on it at all times!

i have had similart experiences, people knowing that the bonnet catch is external and trying to start it (no damage thank fug) and getting it picked up and moved. i wouldnt miond so much but it must be bad forthe suspension and wheels, and i KNOW its bad for the body, theres heaps of little dings above the rear wheel arches.

the price we pay for driving rad cars
