Dearer... but new last longer if you can get them. When they get old and brittle they do a fair imitation of a hand grenade...!

Yes I know dr Mini, last week just before I arrived at work I noticed smoke coming from under my dash, I work at a servo and we had the electrician look at it the headlight swich had shorted? out , and he told me the wiper switch was on the way as well, Makka has helped me out with a wiper switch , but I still need a headlight switch, can anybody else help me out? or should I just pay the $ and get a new one? Tony

Headlight ones go more often.
new from karcraft they are $36. Not too bad- you wouldn't believe what switches for modern cars are worth!!

Put a headlamp relay in, and the switch will be carrying heaps less current.

not a bad price at all.

A 'power mode' switch in my Mitsushitty, very similar to the headlight switch in a clubby, was $200! I never bought it, just put up with it not working.

I had a lousy `80 Celica Liftback a while ago. Toyota wanted $72 for a plug-in headlamp relay! And nooooooo, of course it wasn't in stock. Typical Toyota.. Oh what a feel---ing..... :x
Pick 'n Payless had S/H ones by the pocketful. 8)

Roundnose switches don't often wear out. If they get sticky, spray in front with some CRC.
