hey people..
anyway thanks for the previous comments and suggestions ive gathered..
its great to realise how nice people here are...
well as ive said in my last post ive got no knowledge on cars(mini's too) but im learning hard...
anyway ive gotten myself my ride..and she's sweet...73 Leyland mini,most parts original,white,surface rusts in engine bay/boot interior/front floor panels,rod suspensions need replace,radiator hose broke and leaking,lock not working..would have love to upload some pictures but ive got no idea how to in this site...

anyway here are some question time again(for the helpful):

1)are there any mechanical shops you guys can reccomend me to visit to get parts and services on my ride?(im new to this country)-i stay north ryde,20min from sydney

well ive been driving it around for a few days..but i know i gota get it serviced it as soon as possible..damn as i was driving it today,my window jamed..couldnt wind it properly...and my locks for my driver seat door is spoilt..radiator hose broke,wheel radius suspension gota change...and ya..lotsa reading up and doing up to do right now..heee..but im glad for the plunge...

now i just hope that i can offer you some ignorance and a chance to give me guidance in this field of expertise as im sure i will be coming online to know more about my new found love :wink:

Nice!...that clubby is exactly the same as my first car 8)

Seats and everything else looks original, stereo I think may of been a factory option..

hmmm...that looks very nice and original. I like it!

Dude I wouldn't worrk about the rusty engine bay. Most Mini's that are original are like that. Only restored ones would be squeaky clean there.

As Guru Josh said, the place at Ermo is good, or you can also try Mini Spares and Repairs in Castle Hill. They have a new mechanic (Jamie) who is a top bloke, friendly and helpfull.
