hi all - hope you can help...

I got a non standard tacho for the clubby and now i just gotta put it in! there is 6 wires coming of it, where do they go?

im guessing there is a earth, power, illumination (which i guess goes to the park lights) i guess theres gotta be a wire to go to the ignition coil but how??

i tried to put a smiths one in my last mini and couldnt get it to work but then someone told me that i might have blown it up or some sh*t when i was trying to do it and thats why it never worked! i dont wanna make that mistake again!

Also, does it need to be calibrated or anything or will it just work when i wire it in? and one more thing... what should i set redline at???

oh if anyone has a wiring diagram for a 1978 leyland that would be handy...

Thanks, Mel

I only know 4 of em..

maybe the other 2 are for the shift light if u have one.

anyway,

green: - side of coil
white: backing light, hooked to power or headlights
red: power, acc, what ever
black: earth

hope that helps
