Post subject:  Speedo ID ? - now with pic
I have a speedo from a roundy or Moke, not sure.

There are warning lights on it marked 'OIL' and 'FILTER' as well as H/BEAM and IGN. On the back it is marked 1976.

Is this a MOKE speedo or something?

I have 2 1275 Moke ones, and they both read to 140KMH... :roll:

If it'a big speedo and WAS made in 76 it has to be Moke, but are you sure that is year, or maybe it's a model #?
Whats it read to- 90MPH?
As said it should be in KMh

Was made then but is obviously spare part..
It's an Oz made one not UK..
Mini K is my bet. see if it's the same face as Pops... :wink:

Matic maybe? It's the FILTER and OIL lights that have got me. Pops don't have those....

Yeh it aint K, K only has IGN and H/BEAM lights on the main clock.

Not deluxe either because Deluxe has IGN, TEMP, H/BEAM, and OIL.

how do you know its australian doc?

It's late 60s Australian, because it has the matt grey face, and bits of coloured paper in front of the little ign & oil warning lamps.

Oz MK2 S had similar look (but to 120MPH). Not 130- that's the UK one.

UK made ones have coloured plastic bezel over the lamps instead, & the face is darker.

Deluxes I've seen had the filter light?, maybe it's a 67-68. Or as said, could be a `matic- but they didn't have a filter light sender.

Key to ID is the part number or the turns/mile on the back.. anybody got a parts book handy?
